Mariela has over 5 years of customer service experience in the work field and 3 years of education in paralegal studies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies with a concentration in Paralegal studies from Montclair State University, a program approved by the American Bar Association where she also earned her Paralegal Certification in conjunction with her degree. She also interned at The Legal Aid Society in NYC where she served and supported low-income New Yorkers in their criminal appeal cases. Known to be detail oriented and a fast learner, she strives to always provide superior performance.

Mariela’s first language is Spanish and she is also fluent in English. Daughter to Dominican immigrants, Mariela was born in the United States and also lived in the Dominican Republic during the early years of her life prior to returning to the United States. In her free time, Mariela likes to spend time listening to podcasts and reading books. Outside of the workplace, she also enjoys painting and relaxing with family.
